Calling All Poets...Let us praise Muhammad (salallahu 'alaihi wasalam)

More radiant than the full moon
Is the Face of our Beloved Rasool.

Cheeks so soft and forehead wide,
Black pupils and wide eyes, while
Crimson lines mix in with the whites
And the smile…
The breathtaking smile…
How can I begin to describe?
Digging and searching through my mind,
For some words that can describe that smile.
Pondering and rummaging, but I cannot find
A couplet to describe that smile..
I give up- I have come to decide,
What words can do justice to that smile?

Mashallah

Evil is my soul for neglecting his way
enveloped in darkness and ignorance day after day
Heavy on my heart is this burden
Oh Allah may I not be again led astray

Kind and Gentle were his ways
Soothing the poor and destitute hearts always
Reciting the Quraan in a beautiful melody
Melting and Guiding the hearts that were once led astray

More valuable than me
is the dust that brushed his feet
compared to him we are evil full of deceit

Oh Allah he seems so far out of reach
Each time I look at your commandments that I have breached
Our Prophet a beautiful example he did teach

Rejoice and be happy for today is a new day
To Praise our Prophet and adhere to Allah way
Singing his praise will wash our sins away

Caution and Beware you don't lose sight
Of following Allah's most beloved
in the clearness of his light

Indeed it was the clearness of his light
That made darkness bid goodbye.
And gave ignorance a deep fright
And made jahilliyat bid good bye.

Indeed it is the clearness of his light
That it shines and glows so brightly.
We are his ummah - against satan we fight
And lets make his sunnah our companion, we wont ever be lonely.

And is a beautiful tomorrow
If only we hold on to his hand
And on his footsteps we follow...

I tremble with envy as I look upon the multitude of people
who aspire to be next to him on the last day
With mountains of sunnah and valleys of durood, salaat and salaam
Rivers of tears, and oceans of patience and calm

Waiting for that moment to be at one
with the most beloved upon whom the sun has ever shun

Oh Allah only your Rahma will deliver this dirty spec
who seeks your true treasure and boon
Of being in the jammat drinking from his palm
Only your mercy and not my deeds can save from doom

mashaAllah, subhaanAllah beautiful words...inshaaAllah keep up the praise of Muhammad Mustafa everyone and

The words of His Lord, Muhammad would speak,
So sweet was His speech, unique was He.
His Lord’s words, He would strive to teach,
Reciting verses, chapters until Al Quran was complete.

With love and patience, He continued to preach
When He needed help, Allah He would beseech.
Who could say the message had not reached?
We are living proofs for all to see…
Laa ilaaha ilAllahu Muhammadur-Rasoolullah

Oh people take heed for he was the best example in deed
Our Salvation at the hour of our utmost need

May it not be we remorse when it is too late
Everyone has a fixed and appointed date

What sorrow and anguish would we feel
If the angels turn us away from us The Final Seal

In my days of ignorance deeds like germs I did breed
Until I met My Shaikh who planted a seed
Tending to my heart and kindling the Prophets love
Grateful to ALLah's favours from high up above

From head to toe my only desire is to find and follow
The Sunnah of the Prophet a path to Allah's Pleasure
For others it's hardship for the ashiqeen pure and refined Leisure
