What did I do of worth today
    What made my life worthwhile
Did I give some charity or someone a smile

Will I be happy my day was well spent
Made amends, secured and built my eternal life

The answer is easy and simple as can be
Did I TRY to gain nearness to my Beloved Nabi (Sualallahu Alaihe Wasalam)

    Assalaamu`alaykum wrwb,

I haven't been here much. Today I thought to log in and going through this thread, I feel revived after reading some very beautiful lines in the love of RasooluLlaah (salAllaahu`alayhi wa sallam)

May Allaah (`azzawajal) keep our hearts alive in the love of His Beloved.

    Salloo`alal habeeb.

    Just something small I wrote..

The day will come when I shall come back to life
The day will come when I shall be petrified
The day will come when I shall yearn for his intercession
Oh Allah, Make it so that he will recognize my face on that day
Like a master recognizes his black and white mount amongst a herd of black horses
Lost in an ocean of doubt and confusion am I
    Seeking Your burning beacon light
~ Heart Song, Talib al Habib

I stopped writing. Not sure what happened. Have made the intention to start again if it means remembering RasooluLlaah (salAllaahu`alayhi wa sallam) inshaAllaah. In the meantime, I'd like to see something from you sister

    Wassalaam

Alhamdulillah sister, may rewards of this thread all go to you as well...

O Allah, send salawat and salam to Sayyidina Muhammad and his family and companions in quantity as great as the sand and the pebbles on the laid out earth, its plains, and mountains, and as much raindrops ever fell to the earth.

The rain that soaked me to the skin yesterday was not as cold
as the midnight sweat you wiped on your way to the cave.
The thunder I saw striking was nowhere as fearsome
as those thugs with swords besieging your cousin.
    I slipped and I fell, but…
The back pain I carry is nothing but mere inconvenience
compared to the scorpion sting your companion suffered.

This thread is but a flint that ignites the remembrance of our beloved
His remembrance a sweet scent of musk fills our souls with his love
His love will guide us to his path (Sunnah)
His beautiful sunnah envelopes us in light (noor)
A light which accompanies us through this dark and deceptive world

But my dear friends this is just the beginning
If we follow him in mind body and soul
Hope is there of reaching our eternal goal

And all the longing will be left behind
Imagine that day facing him, of all ALLAHs creations,
The Most Kind, The Most Perfected, Gracious,
Beautiful and Sublime, The Prince of Mankind

Advice from an ashiq which I pass onto you:

    1) Duaa for Ummah of Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihe Wasalaam. Beseech ALLAH to forgive, guide the followers and each and every mankind be saved from the fire of Hell and enter Jannah.

    2) To Promote the Sunnah of Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihe Wasalaam in every aspect of our lives. From head to toe, morning to evening and from the cradle to the grave.

    3) To Promote the recitation of Durood and increase the yearning for Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihe Wasalaam.

    The night casts shadow
    and the day brings light
the lakes ripple and the seas roll
those are signs of Allah’s Might

I hope the wind don’t stop blowing
because for every tree, twig, leaf, and fruit swaying
    I raise my hands, supplicating...

I hope the the rain keep showering
because for every drop that is falling
    I close my eyes, praying...

I hope my sight remains crisp
because in every glance it gives
and photon of light it receives
    I dedicate a special wish...

I hope my lungs perform their best
for everytime I inhale my breath
( - how many times Allah alone has knowledge)
I supplicate that Allah send salawat,
salam, and blessing to our master Muhammad.

O Allah, all things caused by You
but with the barakah from the name Sayyiduna Muhammad
    my chest became clear,
    my work became simple,
    my tongue became fluent,
    my speech became eloquent.

O Allah, all praise due to You
    You guide who You wish
but with the barakah from the name Sayyiduna Muhammad
    my mind became sober,
    the clients became reasonable,
    my superior became appreciative,
my worries gone, alhamdulillah such relief!

    Have mercy on ourselves
Just one more Durood one more time
For what is promised, not to pray is a crime
Don't let shaytaan and nafs steal this time

Just one more Durood one more time
One more time his name Muhammad
(sallalluhu alaihe wasallam) on my lips
As beads through my fingers skips
Tears in remembrance of him my eyes drips

Of such precious value is this life
second by second breath by breath
The end of such an opportunity is death

Just a wisper as ALLAH is all hearing
To remember who of ALLAH was most fearing

Of all the posts you've read to today
Send and Post salutations to the way
    Of ALLAHs Habbib Rasullullah
    Sallalluhu Alaihe wasallam

One more thought of the Sublime
This is my peace and solace
    erases worries of every kind

I ask my soul hankering after dunya
    How low can you go?
Only the dust of your grave
    Will fill your craving so

    Have mercy on ourselves
Just one more Durood one more time
For what is promised, not to pray is a crime
Don't let shaytaan and nafs steal this time

Just one more Durood one more time
One more time his name Muhammad
(sallalluhu alaihe wasallam) on my lips
As beads through my fingers skips
Tears in remembrance of him my eyes drips
