    Default debate with Ahmedis

Does anyone know any good videos of debates between an Ahmedi and a Muslim scholar? or of any books that directly argue against Ahmedis??

What exactly is it that Ahmedis believe? I hadn't heard of them until last year when a person I knew online said they were one. When I asked her what it means to be Ahmedi, she pretty much just told me that they are Muslims just like myself only with a "few differences" which she promised she would explain one day, but never did. I've tried looking up stuff, but all I see are anti-Ahmedi sites and a bunch of slander and nonsense. I usually cannot read anything written in an angry tone, so maybe those pages contained the info I'm seeking, but I couldn't be bothered to read it. Anyone have any input as to what they believe and why so many people seem to hate them?

Ahmedis believe that Hazrat Isa AS passed away after he was taken off the cross due to his injuries. They say that he is buried somewhere in Kashmir. Also they believe that Imam Mehdi and the Messiah are one and he has come and they follow his descendants (I think or someone who succeeded Mirza Ghulam, the person they believe to be the Messiah).

They are considered to be kafir by all scholars, though they call themselves Muslims.

Jazakallah but I don't understand Arabic. If you have any English or Urdu material that would be great.

Interesting. And I assume that someone by the name of Ahmedi teaches this? If so, where does he get such information?? I've never read anything that even resembles that kind of teaching about Isa (may Allah's peace and blessinge be upon him). It's obviously just this man's opinion. What's bothersome is that enough people follow this in order for it to get noticed. May Allah guide them and guide us all.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani (from the town of Qadian)

His sect are therefore known as Ahmedis, Qadianis or Mirzais.

Mawlana M. Yusuf Ludhianwi Shahid mentioned in one of his book that, this sect should be referred to as Qadiani or Mirzai and not Ahmadis. It is haram to refer to them as Ahmadis. Reason being that:

In his interpretation, Mirza Qadiani claimed that the verse "Whose name shall be Ahmad" [The Holy Quran, As-Saff 61:6] -- foretelling the arrival of Prophet Muhammad [SAW] -- actually refers to him! In fact, taking advantage of his middle name, Mirza Ghulam and his followers have twisted the meaning of the Holy Quran and claimed prophethood for their leader.

Muslims everywhere are reminded to call the followers of Mirza Qadiani solely as "Qadianis". The use of the name "Ahmadi" – founded on deception and misrepresentation of the Holy Quran is injustice to Islam – and following a false prophet is forbidden [Haram] upon the believers.
