    Salaam,

In answer to the questions above.

My rates are from Ł25 per treatment.

I do not know of any brothers who do this treatment. I am sure if you google you might be able to find someone or someone who knows inshallallah.

The question wheather the Queen has Hijama done, I have no idea I will have to ask her

Regarding pain....Hijama does not hurt and is painless. Its a painless treatment. The idea of cutting the skin and blood being released always makes people think the worst but its like making very tiny scratch marks with a razor on the skin and this is done very quickly that you dont feel a thing......

    Hope this info helps!

    Asslamo Allaikum Sister,

Hijama can be risky as happened with me twice.

    1) I fainted on my first Hijama treatment (that is very unusual I must say) and what I experienced next I rather not describe because they are subjective in Nature and we are dicussing science here.

    2) The Practitioner left the suction ON while I talked and joked and it drew so much blood out of me that I almost fainted.

Both of the above occured because of my personal stupidity and not due to the fault of Hijama Practitioner.

    3) There are no scientific evidence or Meta-Studies to suggest that Hijama is an effective treatement so those interested must take a leap of Faith.

But my Allah (SWT) reward you Sister for trying to practise the Sunnah.

I read through and am quite confused why you think by talking and joking seems to be the reason why you fainted?

Also you state Hijama can be risky however light headness and fainting is common in Hijama and you should of been made aware of this. Most patients are able to be treated without any light headness or fainting but everyone is different in their body makeup. It depends on the individual. This is why I always feed my patients a bit of pure honey after treatment to perk up their blood sugar and take any light headness away from them as it nourishes the blood.

People may experience some light headedness which can cause them to faint or if you get up too quickly this can cause one to faint .

Some people are queasy to the sight of blood which can also cause them to faint

If you are talking and joking through the treatment this would not been the cause of you fainting. You probably was in shock by the blood coming out of you to faint which is quite common or you are just prone to light headness from cupping which caused you to faint.

There is on going scientific evidence and studies being practicised around the world within Cupping/Hijama. Am not sure where you got your information to think there have been no scientific evidence or Studies done on Cupping/Hijama. All the studies proved a complete recovery or an improvement. I suggest you google to find out....

Thumbs up Re: Hijama Practitioner in UK

Could you please say where abouts are you based at, as I would like to have hijama/cupping done to my mother.

I am looking for someone qualified and knows from Islamic perspective.

There is immense benefit from cupping, alot of Hadiths are mentioned in regards to it, so really we dont need science to prove as the benefits have been mentioned by the prophet, science only re-assures and convinces the sceptical.

Couls you please mention the days you are able to perform cupping.

    Thankyou

I forgot to mention regarding your other question. I only do Hijama on the days prescribed in the Sunnah, 17th 19th, 21st of the Lunar days unless its an emergency then it can be performed on any day.

Cupping (hijama) is a cure for every disease by Allah's permission. The Messenger (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, "Indeed in cupping (hijama) there is a cure." [Saheeh Muslim (5706)]. The Messenger (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, "Whoever performs cupping (hijama) on the 17th, 19th or 21st day (of the Islamic month) then it is a cure for every disease." [Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawud (3861)].

The Messenger (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, "Whoever revives a Sunnah from my Sunnah and the people practise it, s/he will have the same reward of those that practise it without their reward diminishing…" [Sunan ibn Maajah (209)].

Abu Hurairah (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, "Whoever performs cupping (hijama) on the 17th, 19th or 21st day (of the Islamic, lunar month) then it is a cure for every disease." [Saheeh Sunan abi Dawud (3861)].
