Sh. Faraz and SunniPath were synonymous. I wonder what will happen with SunniPath now?

I'm hoping Sh. Faraz will start online classes along with whatever else he will be doing so that those who are far can still benefit from him.

The two murabbi's comment is not correct. The reason of the veiling of mother's name is Hayaa' .. because she is a woman, wajibus Satr.. thus the perfection is in hiding her name as well.. While the sheikh is the Link in the Nisbat e Batini to Rasulullah ..

How would you like to have an Alim as a guide for your life whose link to Rasulullah is not established...?? Isnaad are important in both Uloom uz Zahiriya and Batiniya as well..

I pray you are well.

Such questioning is merely a door to fitna and gossip. Why the need? It is common information who Shaykh Faraz is a murid of, and it is also common information that Wikipedia is hardly a credible source of information.

Also, Sidi Abu Hajira: There is a difference between a murid not publicizing who his murshid is and a person with ijaza on the path not doing so.

I pray this finds you all in the very best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you the best of this life and the next.

I just thought I'd clarify a few things:

(1) I left SunniPath in order to focus on a number of other projects, which are a more immediate priority--including the Razi Institute here in Toronto (Canada); an online answers service project with some scholars... and, yes, the SeekersMedia project, on the side.

(2) I am very much a murid of Shaykh Nuh Keller. I have found nothing but benefit, blessing, and increase in good through this association, and have no thought of ending it.

(3) I don't write or edit my Wikipedia entry, so omission of teacher names, biographical details, or inclusion of inaccuracies is not of my doing or promoting.

May Allah grant us sincerity in seeking His pleasure, above all else, and to serve the Umma of His Beloved Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), and to spread the light of his guidance and teachings (peace and blessings be upon him), at transmitted by his noble companions, family, and inheritors (Allah be pleased with them all).
