    salaam

I have a tape of a bayaan by Peer Syed Naseeruddin Shah Sahib and in this he recites some of his poetry. It is absolutely fantastic the way he puts his point across in the form of poetry. He also is a very knowledgable scholar.

I was just wondering what is the perception of the ulama-e-deoband as regards him as he is more inclined to what they would term barelvi.

Also he is the grandson of Peer Mehr Ali shah rahimullahi'alyh , the destroyer of Qadiyaniat, who challenged the Mirzais on a number of occasions. He was also a friend of Anwar Shah Kashmiri rahimullahi'alyh.

    Wasalaam

I don't know, his poem is just superb masha Allah. This poem was published in Dharb-i-Mumin with the name "Peer Naseer ud Deen Shah (May his nobility increase)" I only found out later that he was the sajjadah of Golra.

Anyway, i want to archive that poem along with a glossary of difficult words, here are some of them, let me know if there are any others

Subhanallah, some of the lines were amazing.

    What does this mean?

مسند آرائے بزم عطا کون ہے

    and

اب مری راہ میں کوئی حائل نہ ہو، نامہ بر کیا بلا ہے صبا کون ہے

This might be sorta complex, i'll try the best i can insha Allah

Masnad is throne (or post) - Ara (Decorator) as in Aaraish (Decoration)

Masnad-ara: the one who decorates the throne by his presence. If a king sits on a throne, it is not said that he's sitting on it, rather he's decorating the throne.

Bazm is a gathering or forum "Majlis", "mahfil". `Ata: gift, grant, endowment

Bazm-e-`Ata: A gathering in which the King grants things to people.

    Hail: obstructing

    Nama-ber: letter carrier

saba: breeze (people call on the saba to carry their messages to their loved ones)

    اۓ صبا مدینے جانا
    میرا ماجرا سنانا

So, the poet is saying that my Dua is heard directly by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, a letter carrier or breeze would only be an impediment.

I have this one at home but it's very hard to find words in it.
