    agree totally..

btw.. good luck going through haidh and istahadha in sharhul wiqaya... you will have a blast if you are into these masa'il..

    assalamu 'alaykum sister,

I'm referring to the standard fiqh texts taught in the 'alim course such as Nur al-Idah, Mukhtasar al-Quduri, Kanz al-Daqaiq, Sharh al-Wiqaya, and Hidayah. For someone who's not a student of knowledge and would like to learn the issues relation to women in plain english, I would recommend buying this book: http://www.al-rashad.com/product_inf...8722aa872d7f1d

To be honest, I haven't read this book in detail but by merely looking over it, I would say it probably addresses most of the complicated issues in relation to hayd, istihada, nifas, etc.

    wassalam

    assalamu 'alaykum,

lol ... I'm not "into these masa'il" but I think this is probably one of the areas where there is a lot of ignorance on part of the awam. A lot of women don't know these issues well, which in turn effects their salats, fasting, umrah, hajj and more.

Does anyone know which publisher's copy of this book has the best quality? I've seen ZamZam publishers but from previous experiences with their books, I am not really convinced. Any links to where I can buy this book would be appreciated.

The book "A gift for women" is very good
