I think what the brother is trying to convey, is the education our children are learning in school is of no help to them because it only focuses on the transistory things in this life, the things that can not help us get into Jannah. Today's education primarily consists of teaching children to make money a first priority and not Allah, which is what happens when one does not live in a society where worshiping Allah and following the Sunnah is the number one priority.

I think that's what he meant...I could be wrong..but that's the meaning I derived from this post.
