Sending your kids to preschool

I would like to read some views from parents concerning preschool.

Is it beneficial to send our kids there....or is ir better we just let them stay home and teach them the basics from home.

My son is 3 yrs and I can't make up my mind if to send him to nursery or not.
I know he will learn some things...also he will be able to interact with different kids,etc. But does it really worth it?

I don't have any children, but my niece and nephew both went to an Islamic school at three, and I have to say it did them both a world of good.

My Nephew is 7 already and knows the Arabic language...and my niece is 4, and on her way to 1st grade. Although they'll make you pay if your child is less than 5 here in America...lol they don't know she's only 4.

So if you are considering taking him to preschool, maybe you might consider letting him go to an Islamic preschool, there he could learn Quran Insha'Allah, and his Alphabet .

Jazakallah for the reply. I'll be sending him maktab from October Insha Allah....so ofcourse there, he will pick up the Arabic and Quran...

I'm not sure if the islamic school here teaches you Arabic and Quran in nursery. I'll have to find out.

So you think its good to send your kids to preschool....What about if the mom is not working?

Well both my sister's weren't working at the time, I think they just wanted the kids to learn as early as possible. They develop their personalites around this time, and also this is the time the minds of children soaks up all the knowledge so-to-speak.

So Alhumdulillah, if it is filled with Quranic knowledge.

However, at the same time your child is being exposed to other children for the first time..and other people. And they do the say mother is the first and best teacher, so ultimately the decision will be based on who you think will be the best teahc for your son, you or someone else.

Insha'Allah Allah will guide you to make the best decision-Ameen.
