Smile Praying Salaah in the Airplane

    Bismillah

    Asslamu 'Alaykum

I would like to know what is the general ruling in Hanafi Fiqh on praying salaah in the aeroplane while the plane is flying and the time of Salaah has entered?

    Jazak'Allah Khayr

It is absolutely necessary to perform the salah.
One should perform it standing, facing the Qiblah.

If one if not able to do so, even after requesting permission, then he should sit and perform the salah and then repeat it upon reaching his destination.

    And Allah Ta'ala knows best
Sahabah رضي الله عنهم would cling fast to the Sunnah, on account of it being Sunnah, while we discard the Sunnah, on account of it being (just) Sunnah!

Do we do qaza for it?

You could call it qada. It is more of a precautionary qada, due to one having neglected an important fard in his salah.

Does one have to re-pray it if one had prayed the Salaah standing?

There is no need to repeat, if performed standing.

What if one can perform it standing, but it isn't possible to face the qiblah? Should one also in that case repeat the prayer when the plane lands?

If we then verify thereafter that the direction we've prayed was within 45° away from qibla, does it still need to be repeated?
