Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

There will be a detailed and informative Islamic talk at Al Jalal Masjid on Saturday 2nd August 2008 after Asr' Jamaat, 7.00 pm.

The topic of the talk is entitled - "Judgement Is Coming: The Events of Judgement Day", which is the third part of the four part "Death & Hereafter Series"

The talk will be delivered by Brother Uthman Lateef (Abu Mujahid) who specialises in Islamic history and is a frequent and a very popular speaker at Islamic circles in the UK especially in the University Islamic Societies and Masjids across the UK. Uthman Lateef has studied Arabic and Tafsir in Syria. Uthman Lateef has a BA Honours in History, MA in Crusader Studies and presently doing a PhD in the Muslim effort to reclaim Jerusalem after the First Crusade 1099. He is also working for the Hittin Institute - named after the Battle of Hittin under Salah Al-din, which is an institute for the purpose of bringing together Muslim researchers, academics and activists to present Islam and Muslim historical achievements and contribute to the global Islamic resurgence.
