Here is the complete hadith (it has no books/narrators etc listed):

NAFIL SALAAH TO BE READ ON Night of 15th Shaban Laylatul Baraa'ah BASHARAT OF JANNAT:
Sayyiduna Rasulullah (PB.U.H) is reported to have said that Allah Ta'ala instructs and assigns 100 angels to the person who performs 100 Nafil Salaahs on the auspicious night - 30 of which will bring the good news of Jannat, 30 angels to protect one from the Azaab (punishment) of Dozakh (Hell), 30 to remove all misfortuunes and miseries of this world and 10 angels to protect one from Shaitaan.

I've read many articles and books on this topic but I've never come across the above Hadith. Most likely it is not authentic.

"The narration of 100 rakats of prayer is fabricated as Ibn ul Jawzi and others have mentioned" (Darse Tirmidhi Mufti Taqi),

There is another narration on the authority of Ali (Allah be pleased with him) as well which is also fabricated.

Barelwis have some weird stuff on their sites with respect to this night. Is it any wonder that they are termed as 'Ahlul Bidah'?

U shouldnt try seeking the authenticity of a hadith by reading books on your own, or receiving answers from people who havent studied a lick about nothing in the science of hadith. Many uluma of past and present have written about this issue. we should seek Allah's bounty and mercy in EVERY night.
