    Default My heart bleeeeds !!!!

(I have already this on a seperate thread. But decided to post it as a new thread.)

    Assalam Alaikum.

My heart bleeeeeeds, when i see posts that say "i will not keep a beard, it is only a sunnah!".

It is a part of your "imaan" to love Rasoolulah (SAWW) the most in this world. When we love someone, we want to make our appearance like them, we want to talk like them, walk like them, etc. As they say, love is blind. Sahaba loved Rasoolulah (SAWW), and therefore, they followed each and every thing that was done by Rasoolulah (SAWW). They never asked, whether it is a wajib, or a sunnah, or vice versa.

And what ever Rasoolulah (SAWW) has done for us, even if we give our lives for that, we won't be able to repay for it.

Didn't Rasoolulah (SAWW) bleed for us?
Didn't Rasoolulah (SAWW) give everything he had for us?
Didn't Rasoolulah (SAWW) cry for hours and hours for us?

Tell me ONE sacrifice, that Rasoolulah (SAWW) did NOT give for us?

Tell me ONE moment, where Rasoolulah (SAWW) forgot his ummat?

When on the day of qayamah, everybody would be worried for themselves, even the prophets, only Rasoolulah (SAWW) would be seeking mercy for his ummat.

Isn't it our moral obligation to give our lives, spend everything we have, devote our families, but not leave a sunnah of the prophet?

If your child is burning in fire, will you go to a mufi to ask "is it wajib, or sunnah to save my child from fire?", or will you run towards the fire and save your child?

I don't know why people question the sunnah of Rasoolulah (SAWW) so much. The Quran is FULL of verses, which say, if you want Allah's love, follow Rasoolulah (SAWW).

My heart bleeds. When i used to listen to rock music, i used to have long hair. Because Axl Rose of Guns N Roses used to have long hair. I used to imitate him, because i adored him.

So doesn't Rasoolulah (SAWW) deserve this, that his ummaties atleast make their appearances according to Rasoolulah (SAWW)? Allah kay mehboob ka hum per itna bhi huq nahin hay?

How, how would we be able to stand in front of Rasoolulah (SAWW) on the day of qayamah?

I totally echo your sentiments brother. I have the same feelings with regards to this issue. With regards to the beard, I also hold certain portions of this Ummah responsible for its diluted importance. Don't ask me who, I won't say it here.

May Allah make us true followers of our beloved Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wassalam).

    Wassalaam

Mashallah, beautifully put and stated. May Allah give us all tawfiq to emulate his sunnah. Ameen.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrar. (Al- Imran:3)

I wonder whether ulama deem this as istikhfaf; deeming the sunnah as something 'light' which is unbelief.
And if he were to ask for a gentle lady in marriage, he would be refused, and when he leaves the world it does not miss him, and if he goes out, his going out is not noticed, and if he falls sick, he is not attended to, and if he dies, he is not accompanied to his grave.

    Salaam,

Indeed it is very beautifully written! JazakAllah for the reminder akhi. May Allah swt increase our love for His beloved and give us all the tawfeeq to emulate the Prophet (saw) in every way possible. Ameen!

If a person wants to measure his nearness to Allah, he should apply the following formula given by Shaykh Gangohi:

“A person’s nearness to Allah is proportional to his distance from his own ego and self [nafs].”

Ofcourse, bukhari and muslim have so many hadeeth which say "whoever leaves my sunnah, has nothing to do with me".

Muslims start their day, by running a blade over their nabi's sunnah, and then throwing that sunnah in the gutter.

    Astaghfirullah.
