A Friendly Ramadhan Reminder

Assalamu Alaikum SF members,

A quick friendly reminder at the order of the Ameer that in this blessed month of Ramadhan, please do not start any controversial and contentious issues. Also, please do not get into any quarrels and arguments.

I swear if someone does, then I'm gonna throw him in the Jail Khana for two months at least. (wait...did I sound angry there?...the fast must be getting to me) : )

The devils and Shayateen are jailed in this month. Berbatov should be jailed as well for joining the devils. : )

So folks, continue posting but please, do not discuss any in depth issues which are not related to Ramadhan. Please save them for next month.

Let us utilize every single second of this month of Ramadhan properly. Let us increase our prayers, duas, zikr of Allah, recitation of the Quran, and many other noble acts.

Do not waste your time otherwise you will end up in the Jail Khana. Which by the way will be a good move considering that you will be away from SF for a couple of months and then and only then will you utilize the month of Ramadhan properly. Man, this is confusing to me. : )

It's interesting that previously, people have asked to be banned from SF so that they can concentrate on their life away from SF : )

Ok folks...so no quarrels and fights and also, please do not start any contentious issue in this month if it has nothing to do with Ramadhan.

I did not see this thread, so I apologize for opening the beard thread. Having said that, I want to clarify about my intention. I was not trying to be polemical or argue that it was the correct opinion. Rather, I was merely saying that this article sounded convincing to me (a layperson) so I wanted to know what a refutation of it would be from someone like Mufti Husain. I was playing 'devil's advocate' in order to understand what both sides argued, so that I could see which side had a stronger argument for my own heart.

As for the other Salafi-oriented threads, these were opened up by brother Muadh, and Insha-Allah I think it will be good if all such threads are not entertained in Ramadan. Or perhaps even after that.

May, in this Holy month, Allah guide us all to make the changes that we need to make in ourselves as good Muslims, and may those changes stay with us forever. Ameen!
