Bait to which sheikh?

I just wanted to do mashwayrah, as to who do you think i should do bait with? Either Moulana ismail wadee, Blackburn or Sheikh Zulfiquar Ahmed from pakistan?

Which would be more beneficial for me, i have read few books on sheikh zulfiquar and found them to be very interesting, and effective...


p.s in the book (travelling across central asia) i read sheik zulfiquar said he gave spiritual attention to the audience, and it all had a big effect on them (i.e their hearts softened, hearts engaged in Allah) what does the term "spiritual attention" mean.


Where can i get more info of the formulas and other info of the naqshbandiah majadedi order?

Personal opinion DJ, go with Shaykh Ismaeel of Blackburn. Dont let his simple and soft spoken nature fool, you, the man is a giant in Tasawwuf.

If you're serious about it then you will go stay with each shaykh for a while and then make up your mind then. Asking random people on the internet isn't a good idea.

Anhero, its called mashwayrah, i wouldnt do that by staying with all sheikhs for while.. Everything should be done with hikmat,

i am simply taking opinions of the brothers and other sheikhs at the moment.

but he is very very old.

last time i saw him was 10 years ago and he was very very old then.

Moulana Ismail Wadi sahib is very ill- has been for about a year. Its probably best u look somewhere else to be able to take full benefit from a sheikh. He's also very old (87).

yes he is old, but his khalifah who i know quite well moulana yusuf ali told me i should do bait with him, thats what he said when i requested to bait with him..

would it be better with moulana ismail wadee sahib as he is close to my house, or sheikh zulfiquar (even though i cannot meet him as he is from pakistan, do you think i can still benefit a LOT even tohugh he is very far)??

There is always the spritual connection there but u may be deprived of the benefit gained from direct contact.

If you were to take bait with Shaikh Zulfiqar you would most likely be keeping in touch (relating detailed spiritual condition) with a khalifa of his for the most part - especially if one is just starting.
