Default Do women read the Iqamah?

    1. For women to read adhan is makruh. But what about the Iqamah? Somewhere I read it's sunnah both for men and women. Is this correct?

    2. I want to ask also about the distance between women's feet in salah. Is it the same as the men? Somewhere I read women should not leave any distance between their feet and somewhere I read they should have 4 fingers distance. Which opinion is correct?

    Assalaamu aleykum.

    http://www.central-mosque.com/fiqh/womdiff.htm

Women are not allowed to call out the Azaan whereas men are encouraged to do so.

ليس على النساء أذان ولا إقامة

Ibn Umar (radiyallaahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "There is no Azaan and nor is there Iqamah upon women." (Baihaqi Al-Kubra, vol 1, pg 408, Idaratut Talifaat Ashrafiyya)

I will check the quality of the chain later inshaAllah.

It is makruh for women to call out the Iqamah, but if she does it does not have to be repeated like in the case of Adhan (Beheshti Zewar).
"Whoever acts upon what he knows, Almighty Allah bestows upon him
the knowledge of things not known to him"
(Fazaa'il-e-A'maal, Virtues of the Holy Qur'an, Part 1, under Hadith 8)

When I lead my wife in prayer, I was confused about who called the iqamah. I think I looked it up somewhere and it said that the man calls the iqamah, even in a jamah of man and wife.

ok. (This is how I've known it to be done in our family, 1 male:4 female ratio).

Thanks for all answers. But what about my 2nd question:
What should be the distance between women's feet during salah?
