I can't answer your question except to point out that a review on that site said the quality of the translation was not up to standard..
Glad to see the ribat forum is back, hope it goes well!

saalam,

These are probably the best translations and explanations. If I had the money, I would buy all of them.

Wa'alaykum Salaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatu,
I wouldn't recommend it[ the English Translation]...
My shaykh warned about the english translations of the Ihya without the Tahkreej(i.e. researching the authenticity of the ahadith) from the Muhaddith Al `Iraqi (rah) which I believe is only in the arabic and not in english. He told me to wait until someone translated Al `Iraqi's work before reading it.
According to Imaam As Subki(rah) the Ihya contained weak, very weak, and fabricated ahadith numbering less than 1,000 out of about 4,000 ahadith altogether. (See Gf Haddad's article below)
Shaykh GF Haddad made an article on the subject called
" Defending the Ihya from those Devoid of Shame" which can be read here:
http://mac.abc.se/home/onesr/d/dids_e.pdf
If someone knows if any tahkrij of the Ihya has been done in english, I would appreciate it if you could inform us about it insha'Allah
Wasalaamu 'Alaykum
