Agreed, I know what you're talking about. Dunya is getting us so much that those non Muslims are way ahead of us.
, dunya stalks me so much that I didn't join the gasht for the past few weeks..
May Allahmake it easy and keep us on the right path.

gusht is not the only issue, we muslims are concentrating more on earning money than work of deen
and if we say anything they will say we are muslims go and give dawah to non-muslims
who said u r not muslim, i am saying ur a muslim so it is ur duty to give dawah to non-muslims, even reminding of this thing is a wrath on our head![]()

Asalamualaikum,
I myself don't even have time to pray with the jamaa't and goin out to give Dawaah seems to be impossible for me these days.Even living in UK i get missionaries knocking on my door quite often with their bibles ready to preach at me even though they know i am a Muslim but they don't give up.And i am soo busy working/studying 5 days a week and driving taxis in the evenings and weekends that finding even a little spare time for mysef is like a mini-holiday.
It is indeed a sad sad situation.
BTW i heard christians are getting ethnically cleansed by hardline hindus in India?
I know gusht isn't the only issue, I was just using it as an example of how much I've been involved in dunya.
And I meant that many non muslims are doing a lot more effort than we are doing, which isn't a good thing.
I have no idea why people say go to the non muslims...
sorry for any confusion.

this is what we need.
May Allah increase Hazrat Ji Maulana Yusufin ranks and grant us the tawfiq.
Final plea of Hadrat Ji Maulana Yusuf to the ummah
What has he lost who has found You (O Allah),
and what has he found who has lost You (O Allah).
:Ibn AtaIllah:
Don't be too hard on yourself, working and earning money for our family's welfare is part of ibadah isn't it?
Besides, missionaries get massive funding and it's doubles up as their main income. Churches are still getting emptier despite their efforts.
As for our da'wah, well, it seems the kufaar gives the same excuse i.e. Muslims aren't economically or militarily successful enough to be considered the same standards as the non-Muslims. That may be the reason why Muslims are trying to prove themselves to them (although it could very well be the wrong approach).
However, the tide is slowly turning. These govt bailouts will make everyone as poor as the next person anyway.

This world is as if in a mother's womb. Living in the womb, if you were told of the life to come -would your undeveloped mind be able to comprehend it?
Nay. And such is the Afterlife.

the other day i saw a journalist(muslim) trying to prove a group false which was working for deen, he had to run for his life(though he ran away), to prove himself something great he said " doing my job also is ibadah, so i didnt run away soon "
but why didnt sahaba love to do this ibadah, why did they live their houses, some even had more than one wife and more than 5 children, still why some die in china and some in europe
so will muslims work if they are funded, are they working for Allah and the duty which was given to us or we working to double our income, i dont mean to offend u but this is the thing which is throwing us into the gutterBesides, missionaries get massive funding and it's doubles up as their main income. Not too sure about the Companions not liking to work. I think they do to a certain extent e.g. Hadrat Abu Bakr (ra) became successful in business not long after Hijrah. He kept on working even after becoming Caliph.
Perhaps what you're not satisfied with is the amount of time you spend on the job? This is a common social problem most are facing right now and is felt by the non-Muslims too. It is no longer enough that one works in the day and spend the night to do extra-sunnah things.
I'm only saying that missionaries have the luxury of time to do their propagation work because that is all that they do. Whether churches are emptying is not crucial, but it is a phenomenon.
Da'wah is one of the many problems we have. There's also leadership/govt and social issues to address. Many don't have the time, capacity or even the talent to delve into all these subjects. Try your best and pray to God that it works...there's not much else you can realistically do. My prayers are with you.
Wassalam alaykum.
