just now came from a meeting which was about ijtema on 9th.

we had two scholors who came for it

1. Mufti Rashid (teacher of tafsir, Darul uloom Deoband)
2. Moulana Irfan (Incharge Dawath-e-Islam, Darul uloom Deoband)

other local wel known ulema were

Mufti Abdul Moqni (Incharge of state jamiat ulema e hind)and Moulana Abdul Qavi(incharge of state Qatme Nabuwath )

The ijtema will be taking place on 9th where more than 10,000 incharge and jayyid ulema from all over india will be coming. and more than 5 lakh common people are expected

the ijtema is conducted by jamat-e-ulema e hind at Nizam grounds, Hyderabad


Both moulanas gave history of formation of jamat e ulema e hind and darul uloom deoband.

Mufti Rashid quoted these exact words of Abdul kalam Azad at once place

Then see where are u going and why are u going and see this masjid of Delhi is asking u a question, lift ur eyes and see, this tombs of shahjahan masjid are asking u where u have lost ur history. The places of elders are asking u, with whom ur leaving us, the echo of Allahu Akbar of azan is asking u, on whose mercy ur leaving us.

its taken very seriously by all ulema and almost everyone is requested to attend both muslims and non-muslims

i assume u dont know much about politics played, otherwise u wouldnt have asked such question

muslims have nothing to do with terrorism, they are baselessly attacked all over the world, so the meeting is to condemn it

as far as kashmir is concerned, they will leave more happily if pakistanis dont involve in that matter

First I would like to say to the moderators to ban the dear brother indian muslim for calling hadhrat maulana masood azhar, the khalifah of maulana yusuf ludhanvi shaheed raheemullah, the darling of mufti nizamudieen shamzai raheemullah who was the mufti of binori town and shaykh ul hadeeth. He even wrote a forward to one of maulana masood azhar's books which can be found on mufti afzal hussain elias's website(mufti afzal hussain the famous translator whose team has translated hayatus sahabah in english) under the section of jihad http://www.alislam.co.za/

Maualana masood azhar was always called hadhrat maulana by the mufti azam of pakistan the great faqeeh muti rasheed ahmed ludhainvi who had a lot of respect for maulana.

Mufti Taqi usmani and mufti rafi allow maulana to do bayans at daruloom karachi. they praise maulana.

Every scholar in pakistan praises maulana even the likes of maulana tariq jamil who my mate spoke to 2 years ago regarding maulana masood azhar. However I cannot speak of now weather he has changed his views.

the likes of maulana yusuf motala allowed maulana masood azhar to give a bayan at bury in 1993.

Imagine if I called another scholar a maniac. I would get banned.

I have listened to the bayans and read the books of hadhrat maulana masood azhar. It is all quraan and hadeeth.

Tell me when he spoke against qurran and hadeeth. Listen to his bayans and tell me.

The likes of maulana abdul hafeez makki call him ameer ul mujahideen. So does maualana qari haneef jalandari.

So what does your criticism matter and how dare you call him a maniac!!!!!!

Spot-On with the name Calling.

I also believe that the role and actions of Maulana Masood Azhar (DB) is dubious but I wouldn't call him a Maniac (thats out of line).

Brother! In case of Maulana Masood Azhar (DB) the situation is not as clear as you think...Darul-uloom Bury also has acquaintence with Jack Straw and many hard-core Salafee & Saudee Ulama and Government officials have also been there so what?

if our Criteria for seeking truth is Darul-uloom Bury then we have issues...

Darul-uloom Bury also doesn't condemn anything in Kashmir, Palestine or anywhere else for that matter and never issues any statements for the Muslims (in UK) and NEVER takes a stance on anything.
