One problem when we pose questions here in SF, is that we expect to get immediate answers, and when we dont, we sometimes dont bother checking it. I am talking about myself. I should have been more active over here, but havent. Its a shame.

A big and warm thank you to the borthers/sisters who have replied and replied very sensibly and in an inspiring and uplifting manner.

You need to fall to experience pain. You wont know the pleasures of healing until you have experienced the pain of falling. My views right now resonate completely with yours brother Intrepid. I am as mistaken as anyone can be. May Allah guide me and all the others to the right path and keep me ti the right path.

True than brother Hamza81, its time to look at the long time gains. Very wise words there brother Abu Shuja'ah.

Sister goldfish, "Allah is with me, Allah is near me and Allah is looking at me."

    Jazakh Allah.

Thank you brother Abd'Al-Muqtadir and sister Zainab_Zainab for the wonderful replies. I have read these two posts first thing in the morning so I do hope and believe it will make my day.

Brother, the imams in my mosque speak only Arabic. I cannot speak the Arabic language fluently. Its just not up to the mark. So I dont know what to do about it.

I have got a few friends in my circle of friends who think along the same lines like me but all we do is realize that what we are/were doing is wrong but dont go on to change the wrong into right. This is what hopefully I will do.

Now for one of my questions. If I want to make up for the missed prayers what should I be doing? Should I pray after every farz prayer a missed prayer? But then how is it done for Asr/Fajr?

    Take care.
    Assalam alaikum brother--
The masjid I go to has an imam who speaks English fluently and delivers fantastic sermons for the asian population. I know there are a few such Masjids in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE-- i am sure you can find such masjids in your city too, InshAllah!

    Jazakh Allah.
Everything's relative in life and without pain one cannot possibly understand joy, contentment, pleasure & happiness.

They pray your looking for is known as the qazaa namaaz and to my limited knowledge can be read at anytime, doesn't have to be read in conjunction with the farz namaz you have just prayed.
