A brother, while in a hurry and driving the father's car (not his own), clashed with a parked car, in a very distant city from the one in which he resides in.
Out of fear, he dashed off, but later realized what he did, and regretted of not having written his personal data for the assicuration.
Now, he returned in his city (hundreds and hundreds of kms away), and his father (who instead lives in the city in which happened the accident) refused to trying to search for the damaged car.
So, now it's virtually impossible to contact the damaged car, we think. Calling the police??![]()
What should he do now to repent, if one of the conditions of repenting is to compensate the damaged one for for the damage?
Could he "simply" give in sadaqa an esteemed amount of the damage?
