Question Al-Fatih Institute and studying in Syria?

Has anyone had any experience with any of the above programs at Al Fatih Islamic Institute? Or possibly knows of someone who could share some information regarding them (from a student's perspective)?

...and may peace and blessings be upon the Beloved of Allah.

In Syria the is the Mahad Al-Fatih Al-Islamiyya, they have a female branch and are mostly hanafi. I have heard many good things about then and personaly know several people who studied there.

    As salamu alaikom.
Of course sister. I actualy can talk with one of then, as he lives in my city. He is lebanese and studied about 6 to 8 years in the Mahad, but this was more than 20 years ago, so things might have changed. But I will see what I can do to bring to you more actualized information, insha Allah.
In advance, I can tell that theyr sheikhs are some of the most religious and pious people I have ever heard about. My lebanese friend told me several stories about then, and firmly believes that there are awliyya in the mahad.

    As salamu alaikom sister Waafiya.
The only new information I have is that the foreigner arabic and religion course in Al-Fatih keeps a great focus in muhadath (conversation), and that they teach Nur Al-Idah in fiqh and the 40 ahadith too.
Insha Allah polices will chanche soon in Syria, I want to go there too, but would like to study in Abu Nour.

abu nour is definitely not a place to be. Mahad al fath is far better. Trust me guys get over syria. The institutes are not good. Tell me of one institution that does the sihah sitta completely?

Guys get over it man deobandis rule the road these days.

I found more islam in the uk than syria. More beards, niqabs, dawah etc etc

Exclamation Al-Fatih Institute And Studying In Syria

    Assalaamu Alaykum,

Inshaa'Allaah ta'Ala this finds you all well. I am interested in hearing what others have to say about the Al-Fatih Institute and Studying in Syria in General. I am interested in studying Arabic while there (I have been recommended by a friend to go to the Damascus University) and attending this institute for the Islamic Sciences and would love to hear some nasiha.

    As Salaamu Alaikum

I know someone who spent 8 years in Syria and Alhamdulillah he has a sound understanding. In addition, his kids picked up solid arabic which a bonus.

I am considering a 1 year trip to Syria Insha-Allah as Iv been told there are some excellent schilars there.

Id say learn arabic but go abit further and complete aalim course. Trust me it will be of huge benefit.
