His Grand-Nephew Maulana Marghoob Ahmed lives in Dewsbury and he is one of the most brilliant scholars I have ever met (Masha'Allah).

He lived to a very old age (nearing a 100), he was blessed with the vision of a prophet in his dream, the interpretation of his dream was he would live for a long live.

He was the grand mufti of gujrat.

When he died someone saw in a dream that the Prophet SAW attended his funeral prayers, when the person asked the Prophet SAW where are you going, he said to my nephews funeral prayers.

Note ( the dream is not described word for word, rather a brief account of what took place, I am also note saying the prophet was physically there, rather it is believed as glad tidings for his acceptance, and Allah knows best)

Forgot to add, he was also the student of Allamah Anwar Shah Kashmiri when he came to Gujrat, he lived through the time of Maulana Thanvi and other greats.

when i was 11 years old in 1991 we visited his house in india - he was so kind. he gave me and my brothers and sisters rupees as hadya. i still remember he had so much noor on his face.

Muft Sahib was born in the Motwar suburb of Nosari in 1902, he had a close relationship with many leading Ulema of his time such as Hadhrat Moulana Anwar Shah Kashmiri , Hadhrat Moulana Shabbier Ahmad Uthmaani , Hadhrat Moulana Badre Aalam Mirati , Mufti Ateequr Rahmaan Uthmaani and Hadhrat Moulana Husayn who was the founder of Daarul Uloom Husayniyyah in Randher. These personalities would often stay at Hadhrat Moulana ’s residence in Nowsari, especially when travelling from Delhi to Dhabel.
