Assalamu Alaikum,

If one wear to wear an extra pair of dress socks under the leather socks, would masah be valid?

Also, do mention if there is any ikhtilaf on this issue between the Hanafi/Shafi school (I don't think there are, but just to be safe)

I'm not a mufti, or a scholar, or a person of knowledge, but, yes it would be valid. I don't think there is iktilaf between the madhhabs.

Someone asked this question on a post about leather socks, and Mufti Husain Saheb answered saying it was permisable.
