Trying to learn Arabic - Some advice needed.

Assalamu Alaikum,

I will be graduating soon and will be joining an accounting firm for 3 years until I get my CA inshaAllah. During those three years, I intend to finish Ibn Jabal levels 1, 1b and 2. After I get my qualification, I want to go off to Tarim and learn Arabic in the Badr Institute. I just had two questions:

1) Would you suggest a different course of action e.g. Different institute in London and then going off to a country other than Yemen?

2) Also, is there anyone on Sunniforum who has studied at Badr? I would like to ask some questions regarding their curriculum, teaching methods and application process. Perhaps you could direct me to previous posts/threads.
