I had the opportunity to read some of the recent translated books by Turath publishing i.e. Muwatta Imam Muhammed, etc. The quality of the work is outstanding.

I spoke to brother Yahya representing Turath to bring some courses or sessions of Aqidah and Fiqh to Manchester and apparently they have been having the same thoughts.

There is a one day session that was conducted by Shaykh Abdur Raheem a master of Qur'anic exegesis and the Arabic language. He initially studied at Dar al-Ulum Bury (UK), where he is now the resident expositor of Imam Muslim's hadith collection, and graduated from the famous seat of learnig Mazahir al-Ulum, Saharanpur (India) under the tutorship of Shaykhul Hadith Moulana Yunus (May Allah presever him). He has also specialises in Tafseer particularly in the major Tafseer work of Imaam Baydhawi.

The session was on the book 'Bidayat as-Sul fi Tafdil ar-Rasul' [The Beginning of the Quest for the High Esteem of the Messenger] is a concise work summarising succinctly forty distinctive virtues and characteristics of the Messenger of Allah (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

The session is approx 8 hours including time for breaks, lunch and of course prayers. During the session you are given a work book to make notes on.

I have access to a designer who can create the flyers, posters, etc and am looking at booking a venue in Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester.

I am looking for a lecture room that is separated by partitions with dual entrances that can accomadate brothers and sisters. The target for the day is attendance of 100 people.

What is ideally needed is a listing of mosjids, community centres, cash and carrys, shops, etc that these flyers can be distributed to and a band of brothers and sisters to take the initiative to get these flyers distributed and of course people booking onto the session.

Any ideas and support would be help, preferable (wo)man power needed to physical get the marketing material out there and spreading the word.

The target date is at the end of April.
