    Default Dua for increasing Rizq

    FOR ABUNDANCE IN SUSTENANCE

    Gracious is Allah to His servants: He gives sustenance to whom
    He pleases: and He has power and can carry out his will.
    (42: 49)

    For progress in sustenance/Rizq, one should recite the above
    verse excessive after each Salaah.

    And if anyone puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for
    him. For Allah will surely accomplish His purpose: Verily for all
    things has Allah appointed a due Proportion.
    (65: 3)

    Significance: The recitation of the above mentioned verse
    excessively is very effective in removing poverty. If it is recited for
    any purpose, it will be realised-lnsha Allah

    C-The recitation of Surah Noon in prayers are very beneficial
    in removing poverty.
    D-The recitation of Surah Al-Qari'ah is very effective in
    increasing one's Rizq.
    E-The reading of (The Enricher)--.The attribute of Allah

    1,100 times and the recitation of Surah Al-Muzzammil 40 times
    (or at least 11 times) is very effective and beneficial in aquiring
    sufficiency of the heart.
    FOR THE RlZQ WITHOUT DIFFICULTY:
    The recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha 11 1 times during the late
    portion of the night, will-lnsha Allah-be very effective in acquiring
    Rizq with much difficulty.

    And if he were to ask for a gentle lady in marriage, he would be refused, and when he leaves the world it does not miss him, and if he goes out, his going out is not noticed, and if he falls sick, he is not attended to, and if he dies, he is not accompanied to his grave.

    sunnah way is to recite soorah waqi'ah at night. The other things have no weight compared to this.

    Assalaamu Alaykum,

    Is reciting the other surah or verses at tahajjud time going against the sunnah then? Or reciting Surah Waqi'a in the morning?

    And can you also provide the references from authentic ahadith about reading Surah Waqi'a at night.

    Since you want to be clever... Surah Waqiah does not increase Rizq, it protects one from poverty and starving. I think there's a difference.

    also i read that reading surah Ikhlaas upon entering the home will inshaAllah increase sustenance.
    2:2 SHAKIR: This Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil).
    5:27 SHAKIR: ....... (The other) said: Allah only accepts from those who guard (against evil).

    There are many different ahadith on increasing rizq and/or allieviating poverty.

    It'd be good if we could get a list of sahih and hasan ahadith on this subject.

    mufti shafi saheb ra has written a whole treatise on this subject. I have seen it before. Its also available on the web.... Maybe someone could find it.
