I am a 19 year old male revert who has been a Muslim for a couple months. I am comfortable in all aspects of my new life except one thing, being around the sisters. When I am around sisters I get shy and I feel uncomfortable when I come within close distance to a sister and I sometimes shy away from staring into the eyes of a sister. Like today I was riding the campus bus (Im in college btw) and I saw one of the sisters and we were sitting right next to eachother and we talked and our faces were very very close making me feel akward. The odd thing is that before I reverted, I was EXTREMELY flirty and flamboyant around women and I used to go out of my way to be noticed and try to get the number by every cute girl I ever saw because I graded women by their physical sexiness. Why am I so shy around sisters?

said that Haya (modesty) is a branch of Iman. It is amazing how Iman and realisation can change ones entire conduct and mentality
