You mean next to the stage. And if you sat too close to the stage, then you could not even see Maulana Sahab. So, I think we both must have sat very close to each other.

Oh man, lately I miss Raiwind so much!

People really under value Maulana Saad. One of the reasons is due to his young age. But mark my words, the next big tarteeb change in Tabligh Jamaat will come from Maulana Saad.

I don't think any serious Tablighi is under valuing Maulana Saad nor do I think Maulana Saad wants to start anything revolutionary in the effort. He's telling people nothing new, but actually Allah is using him to open the effort even further than those before him did. Listen to his tapes 10 years ago, his Bayan was a simple 6-points one like from a layman. But really opened so much to him the last years.

He mashallah has a habit of prophet(sw) that he repeats important topic minimum2-3 time like prophet'(sw) used to repeat.

May Allah give him long life, and accept his effort for the hidayah of the ummah.

Maulana Saad has never been under valued. Haji Abdul Wahab Sahab speaks very highly of Maulana Saad. And when Hazrat Ji (RA) passed away, there was a small revolt from the maiwati people to make Maulana Saad the new "amir". But Maulana Saad himself said that he was too young at that age, and should not be made the amir.

But there are so many people, whose sacrifices go unnoticed. There are many people who are very senior to Maulana Saad, but they are hardly mentioned. Like Maulana Nazr-ur-Rehman, Maulana Jamshed Sahab, etc. I love Maulana Nazr-ur-Rehman Sahab.

Can someone post the Hadith Maulana Saad usually recites at the beginning?
"Al muminua..."

Edit: Found it myself in Muntakhab Ahadith, chapter Good Conduct.

عن مكحول رحمه الله قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: المومنون هينون لينون كالجمل الآنف إن قيد انقاد، وإن أنيخ على صخرةٍ استناخ. (رواه الترمذي)

Makhul (RH) narrates that the Prophet said: The believers are gentle and soft like the obedient camel. If he is driven, obeys and if he is ordered to sit on a rock, he sits thereon. (Tirmidhi: 5086)

Note: It means that sitting on the rock is tough but he obeys the order of his owner and sits on that. (Majma' Bahar-al-Anwar)
