i m from mumbai, maharashtra i have been hearing about this grt person from long time his eloquent & simple way of speech. jazakallah for reply i heard that mulana yunus shad was amoung abdaal or qutub does somebody know anything about this pls reply

Has anyone spent time in Pune? Have you met Maulana Farooq, son of Maulana Yunus Punawale? He is such a saint-like person, reminded me of Bahlool Majnoon.
His dress and walking style is such simple, no one would say he is an Alim, let alone say son of Maulana Yunus sahab.

He is a great Alim too. He once gave bayan in Puna Markaz, Chand Tara Masjid when I was there, and his bayan was so much full of insight. He spoke about how Allah SubHanahu wa Ta'ala addresses us with Ya Ayyuhal-Lazeena aamanu and explained status of Iman wala.
I heard he is classmate of Maulana Ghazali of Bhatkal, and Maulana Yusuf Siloni who stays in Markaz.

I was looking for his bayans. If anyone has spent time in Pune, or got his bayan, pls try to upload.

Yes he was among Abdaals. I have a book on his biography written by Mufti Muhammad Shakir Khan Qasmi.
He wrote :

"Ismail by puna wale narrated: Once Moulana Yunus was having a talk with Jama'ats in Markaz Nizamuddin suddenly an Arab Jamaa't came. Among them one asked "who is that person giving bayan?" (pointing to Moulana Yunus). One of the persons replied that he is Moulana Yunus Puna wale, then that Arab told "Moulana Yunus is among Abdaals". After bayan someone told Moulana yunus about that. He asked "Was he a Habshi Arab". they said yes he was a Habshi Arab. Moulana replied "He is also among Abdaals" "

I live in Pune. I was a kid when I saw him. I should have Moulana's Bayans. I will upload and will post the links. www.4shared.com is fine?

Markaz was in Madarchilla Masjid. Ijtema of city is on saturday here. Moulana used to take a round when momin's took had their meal after Isha ki baat. So we were having a food and Moulana sahab was passing so I asked him to join us and he nodded then went ahead. I once performed Wudu (ablution) beside him.

If he started a tashkeel and if someone tried to wake up and go Moulana used to say "Iska nam Pahle 4 mahine me likho. Najarchuki Maal gayab." Maulana used to tell one story. A wrestler went to apply for a party candidate for local election. Interviewers asked him what was his talim. He said 500 Baithak's in the morning, 500 in the evening. Talim done. Talim in urdu means education. It also means exercise. So they understood that this was a Gadbadi (troublesome) person. So Maulana said "Aadmi se baat karo uske akal ke maiyyar se"

Maulana used to clean toilets of Madarchilla Masjid alone on sunday morning. If somebody tried to take that cleaning thing from him, he will not give and say that you want take my sawab. Hat ja.

when we went in Jama'at to other areas and local brothers once knew that we were from Pune, they would comment, Maulana k gavwale, Maulana k gavwale. Then they hardly allowed to cook meals. If we protested then local Brothers would say that "Bhai kya karte ho? Hamari nak katwaoge Maulana k samne?" Karnatka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh. Same happened.

Maulana sahab never used high language but very simple which everybody understood. He appealed to masses.

When we went to his Janaje ki namaj in Azam Campus, there was a HUGGGGEEEEEEE line to see him. We got a chance to break a line and go from back door because of relations with campus but my Abbajaan refused. When he was asked why? He replied Moulana would not have liked it. How can we act against his usools.

Humne Us hasti ki keemat nahi jani. ALLAH hume maf karde.

why it is that maulana's bayaan recordings are very few
