Did the prophet wear new clothes everyday
how was his washing of his clothes...??
Did the prophet wear new clothes everyday
how was his washing of his clothes...??
No Not New Clothes every Day
but to start a new clothes he used to Do it on Friday
The Prophet SWS occupied himself in his house like a common man. As Ayesha R.A
relates he used to wash his clothes, milch the goat and himself do the odd jobs like
mending his garments and repairing his shoes. When asked how the Prophet occupied
himself within his house, she replied, 'He used to keep himself busy in household chores
but went out to offer the prayers when the time arrived."
so isnt it better to wear new clothes every friday??
why is our standards that we wear new clothes everyday
are we too extravgent these days?
how did he used to wash his clothes?
with soap or plain water??
why do we use soap if it is not the prohets way??
of course its permissble to use soap but what is more mustahabb
to do what he did or not>??
and how can we say its cleaner to use soap and take daily baths and change clothes everyday...?
isnt the prophets way the cleanest??
no answers??
what a shame
will anyone answer?
bump?
I would say so but it depends on one's own feelings. If somoene feels dirty everyday and its not just waswasa, then they should shower and change everyday as the most important thing is to remian clean. If someone does not feel dirty and knows he is clean and still changes and washes, etc this may fall under wastefulness.
I think soap was invented after the time of the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him).how did he used to wash his clothes?
with soap or plain water??
Because this isn't really an issue related to Deen. Also, since half of Deen is purity and soap removes dirt better than just water, why not use it? Allah knows best.why do we use soap if it is not the prohets way??
of course its permissble to use soap but what is more mustahabb
to do what he did or not>??
"Whoever acts upon what he knows, Almighty Allah bestows upon himthe knowledge of things not known to him"(Fazaa'il-e-A'maal, Virtues of the Holy Qur'an, Part 1, under Hadith 8)

if you are fine with smelling and wearing dirty clothes then go for it.
why is our standards that we wear new clothes everyday
are we too extravgent these days?

Soap I think not in the way you and I see but I'm pretty sure they had some type of soap bar or block, moving to the african parts of the continent you can make soap out of perfumes like ambergris soap, lavender, henna, frankincense myrrh. Remember arabs were known for trading in different countries. From the fine silks of china to the spices. If they had oud, misk, and other oils they had soap.
your right
its permissible to use soap
but isnt it better to use just water since the prophet did so so this is the sunnah and you become closer to his way?
and whos to say soap is cleaner if the prophet was the best man alive ever and this is something he did not use?
