if Deobandis are so good why are they still a small minority in the world, because Hazoor Nabi Pak SAW said the Sect who will be on the right path will always be in Majority. Hadith came from Hazrat Ali- Imam Hussain and Zainulabidin. Debandi Salfi Ahle Hdith they will always be a fraction even if The Entire Saudi Oil money was spent like a water. Because the existence is only 200 years or so and Insha Allah very soon be sorted out We are seeing the sgns in Saudi of the Change happening. If you live long enough you will see.

Just think of the situation in last years of beloved Prophet (PBUH). Companions (RA) used to wait for some Bedouin to arrive and ask questions on Islam for they were instructed not indulge in excessive questioning while their desire to know more about Islam was always there. I personally gather from this incident that beloved Prophet (PBUH) exhausted himself in the grueling 23 years of Prophethood. We are slightly inefficient people - we get ourselves exhausted in useless debates.

Nevertheless, as per Surah 'Asr, we have to be on the side of the Truth and persist on that.

Salaamunalaykum My brethren in Islam.

I am a Muslim from Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaah and i follow school of Imam Abu Hanifa r.a and yes i am not a fanatic taqlidi as some are like i wont pray behind him because he is a maliki and so no and so forth. I am deeply inspired by the teachings of Shaykh Abdul Haqq Muhaddith Dehlwi, Shah Waliyullah Dehlwi, Shah Abdul Aziz Dehlwi, Ibn Hajar Asqalani, Jalaluddin suyuti, Tajuddin ibn Subki, Imam Nawawi R. AnuhmaAjmaeen.

As we all know that when Allah blesses us with a bounty then we rejoice for it. If soemone will give us a present for doing a certain task then it is a celeberation for us and we are given a present, in the form of some material gains or a promotion at work. Every year i will remember that on this day so and so on this occasion gave me this and i would get happy for this.

Allah also says in the Quran that we should celebrate the bounties of Allah.

Allah says in the Quran that Prophet Muhammad saws is sent as Mercy to All Mankind. The day when Allah's mercy descends to mankind is a day of biggest bounty. Had it not been for Prophet saws, the Quran would not be revelaed, the Kaaba would still be surrounded by idols, we all would be in darkness. We believed in message of Islam due to the trustworhtiness and honesty and great maqam of Nabi Muhammad saws. The miracles the Prophet saws was blessed with the news of the old and of what was to come and what is to come in the Quran al kerim.

It is reported in Sahih Bukhari that on every Monday Abu Lahab is granted respite ot the gist of the hadith is that on a day in rabbil awwal every year Abu Lahab is granted respite in the form of a small gush of water from his forefinger. The reason for this was because when the Prophet saws was born Abu Lahab rejoiced on this occasion and had freed a slave women due to the happy occasion of the Birth of Prophet saws.

Here a kafir is being given respite on this day for his rejoicing on Mawlid un Nabi saws now imagine what bounties , mercy and barakaat is awaiting a muslim if he rejoices on the birth of Prophet saws.

So one should rejoice on thsi day, recite durood sharif, read the seerah of Prophet saws and the events of the birth of Prophet saws and recite qasidas and naat sharif and feast should be given to people. This is what our elders have been doing until we saw a slight difference in indian subcontinent when the ulemas were divided into the school of deoband and those who were not from deoband. You will not find this differecne which is not that major but one some minor issues anywhere outside india and Pakistan.

Go to Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Indonesia, Arabia, Lebenon, Turkey, Malaysia , Egypt you will find all of them as people from Ahle Sunnah wal jamaah. No barelwi and deobandi factor. Perhaps this wasteh reason for the establishment of Nadawtul Ulema by Abu Hasan ali Nadwi r.a.

Shah Waliyullah Muhaddith dehlwi r.a used to celeberate Mawlid un Nabi saws. You can see him attending the gathering as mentioned in hsi book Tafhimatul Ilahiya, Shah Abdur Rahim r.a also celeberated Mawlid he was the father of Shha Waliyullah. Shaykh Abdul Haqq Muhaddith dehlwi r.a Muallim Awwl of hadith sciences in Hind also celeberated Mawlid and he even wrote a detailed risalah on it in this book the months and year of a muslim. It is availble in Urdu. I have myself read it and he included the point of abulahab.

Imam Jalaluddin suyuti r.a wrote a complete book on the permissible of Mawlid and he quoted Imam ibn Haja asqalani r.a as basing the proof of Mawlid from Sunah.

Even Haji Imdadullah Muhajir Makki r.a celebrated Mawlid and you can read hsi book on 7 controversial issues for this. He was the shaykh of Mawlana Ashraf Ali thanwi r.a.

My point is that yes it is very good that many of us are connected to ulema of Deoband and i have great regard for them. But i believe if we go back to the time before the deoband-barelwi rift then much benefit will be achieved.

I think the matter of Mawlid un Nabi saws is not for barelwi if you say so then you have to label all these ulemas as barelwi too.

Nevertheless, as per Surah 'Asr, we have to be on the side of the Truth and persist on that.

instead of time wasting debates and making takfir on each other, it's the responsibility of our Scholarship to take out the Ummah from the mess they are in right now. Do our Scholarship have enough courage to make takfir on the likes of zardari/musharraf who are an ally of american terrorists spilling the blood of Muslims in Pakistan/Afghanistan. Do they have enough courage to tell the Muslims of India that this land belongs to us and we ain't any minority ?
