Sorry, didnt notice your questions earlier.
Roughly within 10 days after Eid al-Fitr, so dates change every yr.when does the year begin at this madrassa?
no, they wont get their own room, but'll share with others of similar age. There are quite a few older students (married with kids), normally local though, but are some amongst boarders too.i heard that mature/older students get their own room. can anybody confirm?
dunno exactly atm, i think about £1100 annually, maybe a hundred or two more or less. You should phone to ask.what are the fees?
Plenty of masajid, ulama, 2 full-time Darul ulooms, Muslim schools (primary (eg. THIS), secondary (eg. THIS), girls-only secondary (eg. THIS) ), a tj markaz, islahi majalis with different mashayikh, duroos/talks...what is blackburn like to live?
Prominent ulama, people, community, DUs etc means it gets visits from very senior people, ulama, awliya etc
the town itself mybe not as alive as cities...fairly safe...halal food not a problem...mainly Gujaratis, then Pakistanis, some Arabs and Bengalis too
Muslims/masajid mostly deobandi background, lotsa barelwis , salafis recently infiltrated (sly they are!) but minority, bits of shia too
Has its problems of course... masjid commitee beef, used to be racism (guji v paki) but all calm now, drugs/time-wasting etc among many youth...
yesanyone on this forum study there or know anyone who is/has studied there?
