Did Imam Abu Hanifah (rh) Have a Daughter?

Asalaamu Alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

I was recently doing some reading on the internet about how Imam Abu Hanifah (rh) got his kunya. I read in some places that he attained it through an incident in which his daughter helped him answer an issue in fiqh, but in other places I read that he actually didn't have a daughter. Can someone clarify this please. And Allah knows best.

walaikum aslaam, yes its true the Imam had a daughter called hanifah. She helped him solve a problem where he was trying to find a reason to explain why a man can marry up to 4 wives but a women can only marry one husband.
From what I heard she used either milk (or maybe eggs as an example I cant recall properly) She took many cups of milk poured them in one basin, then she asked whether it is possible to take back exactly that portion of milk into each cup after it has all mixed together. She used this example to explain that if a women with several husbands was to become preganant it would become difficult to distinguish who the father is in case of a pregnancy.

Someone might want to correct me, I am typing from memory something I heard years ago.

Allamah Shibli Numani mentions in his biography of Imam-e-Azam that this story is untrue and that he did not have a daughter called Hanifah. His kunyad was taken, according to Allamah Shibli, from the Quranic verse that contains the wording "hanifa" meaning one who believes in the one Allah.

How many languages did he speak? Since he was Persian, did he learn Arabic after he grew up?
