    Default fitness training for men

ill paste some posts from my thread in the brothers section here too

    in simplicity

REAL WORLD TRAINING AND FIGHTING/DEFENCE SKILLS AND TACTICS

btw at age 41 im still deadlifting 140 kg..

the deadlift must be at the core of any training ,fighting or weights

    why?

plus the psychology of conflict and bravery versus stupidity insight

also removing all unnecessary training and being effective and efficient

useless exercises and equipment and useless training discussion too

oh and keeping it legal and law abiding of course

    i was waiting for responses

ok..depending on youre bodytype you will be more suited for stand up fighting or groundfighting..of course both skills are best.

if youre opponent seems a good stand up fighter take him to the ground..groundfighting negates a lot of taller faster individuals advantages.

learn to tie people up and control them with bodyweight ..otherwise you will get very tired quickly

cardio is essential and controlling anger and adrenaline

if standing ..kicking above the waist is very dangerous in street fighting
if wrestling make sure you never end up underneath youre opponent

practice punching with both arms and moving round in a circle at the same time

to increase punch power do speed bench pressing or speed press ups

for ground fighting learn to do rolls and increase mobility

also get used to being kicked and punched gradually to avoid shock in a real life situation

start with cardio walking with alternate jogging on grass only..to save the knee joints..2 -3 times a week

and swimming once or twice a week

but dont forget, if your fighting more then 1 guy then you cant take both down. if your on the ground wrestling your opponent, his friend could be kicking you in your face.

Ground fighting is important; however, in a street fight its not ideal at all.

Best thing to do is walk away.

If it comes to it, you want to finish the fight quickly and effectively. Ground fighting does not permit that. The best form to train is Muay thai and look into Krav Maga. It is like the MMA form for street fighting. Quick, simple and deadly.
