    Lightbulb From Indo-PAK to AF-PAK

    Asslamo Allaikum,

    Allamah Iqbal (RA) stated:

“"I would like to see the Punjab, North-West Frontier Province, Sind and Baluchistan amalgamated into a single state. Self-government within the British Empire, or without the British Empire, the formation of a consolidated Northwest Indian Muslim state appears to me to be the final destiny of the Muslims, at least of Northwest India."

Pakistan broke away from India but its destiny has always been in jeopardy ever since and the fears of dissolution of Pakistan (into smaller pieces) goes stronger by the day. India seems to be the new bride in South Asia and enjoying the honeymoon.

Pakistan no longer needs to fear India, it needs to fear Al-Qaida and Taliban taking over its country and nuclear Assets; the dictation arrives from Washington. Nothing can be further from the truth!

    a) India has inflicted three (3) wars on Pakistan, Afghanistan has none

    b) Every Indian leader dreams of breaking up Pakistan and usurping the areas back into India, Afghan rulers have no such dream

    c) Muslims broke away from India because they had nothing in common with Hindus and feared living under Hindu-Slave-Rule, Pakistanees have a common religion, similar cultures and outlook with their neighbours in Afghanistan

Obama says he has a plan for Afghanistan and Pakistan (AF-PAK) and then Allah (SWT) has a plan for the region as prophesised by Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam):

Thauban (Radiya Allahu Anhu) stated that Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "If you see the black flags coming out from the direction of Khurasan, join them even creeping, since al-Mahdi Khalifah of Allah will be among them" [ al-Hakim said: 'This Hadith is sound according to Bukhari and Muslim conditions and terms]

The Qur'aan says about Allah (SWT)'s plans:

[3:54] They (the opponents of Isa ) devised a plan, and Allah devised a plan. And Allah is the best of all planners.

    Word of advice for Non-Muslims:

    salaam

in my opinion things are and have been developing in the afghan/pak region (and the rest of the world) and has been gaining momentum in recent times.

the hadith that muadh bhai has quoted is definitely real and we ignore it at our peril.

i see these type of hadith as a warning from which we can take information and guidance. but unfortunately more often then not hadith of these type are usually relegated to the hadith books and are only studied in an academic format and not seen as something practical to take guidance from.

they are also seen as not being relevant to our age and instead, to some future age.

it seems that many muslims are living in denial and would rather ignore the detrimental changes that are occurring throughout the world. by acknowledging these these changes we would need to extract ourselves from the cocoon that we have built around us, so instead of doing this we carry on blissfully unaware hoping that everything will work itself out.

    we need to wake up.

Also, it mentions this hadith is sound according to Bukhari and Muslim - I thought there was no mention of Imam Mahdi in Bukhari at all (although it doesn't say strictly that it's part of Sahih Bukhari either )?
    Brother,

That doesn't mean that the Hadeeth itself is in Saheeh Bukhari or Saheeh Muslim.

from what i know, i believe it will be before he has actually been identified as the Mahdi.
