indian national congress has absolute majority to form the government


i have been watching the results till now and indian national congress is cleanly sweeping both our state and the central government

chances are that state government is going to reform by 20th

and the central government by 18th or 19th

Prime minister Manmohan singh is going to make the record of being the second leader who has become PM after completing full term, the first being Jawahar lal nehru

bcoz people are fed up with religious and regional parties and i feel that they have realised that those parties are playing with their emotions

edit: the UPA alliance has got 261 seats and they need only 12 seats to prove absolute majority, which is not a difficult task

Hi All

Many congratulation to Mr Manmohan Singh, the most qualified & competent PM of India.

It is pathetic that charisma of ''prime ministerial'' candidate Modi & Advani failed to impress majority of hindu brothers.

Dream of Advani/Modi/Pawar/Mayawati to become primeminister have shattered.
People are aware of the divisive policy of BJP.
Infact the astronomical growth register by the state of Gujarat is not becase of Modi's policy but because of inbuilt gujrati entrepreneurship running in their blood since decades.

In most places it was clean sweep by congress.

On the contrary both congress & BJP are bad but congress is lesser bad than BJP.

I am very glad to be part of TJ which 100% apolitical jamate. We are not at all concern with any party winning or losing.

I've heard from senior that Maulana Ilyas Sab used to that the Imaan of a poltician [or a person involved in politics directly/indirectly] is in most danger condition & there is a maximum chance of loosing imaan at the time of death.

these elections are not at all a failure of muslims, among muslims there are hardly any parties which ask vote in the name of religion like BJP, even if they did, then it will only make them loose since muslims are in minority

in india no body sees whether ur a muslim or hindu, bcoz india is a secular country and everybody respects each other(yes babri masjid demolition wasnt worst than lal masjid, if anybody want to raise objection). if they did then the strict religious BJP would have made in, in the country where there are more than 80% hindu commmunity

Yes I can see that Indians have become very Secular and Muslim/Hindu issue hasn't dominated in the elections.
