Islamic way to solve this confusion ..?

Assalamoalaykum sister!

Istikhara is very easy! You just have to do wudhu ( the best one you can do, use a miswak if possible too) then pray 2 rakaats (the best that you can do, with full concentration), then read Third Kalima and Durood a few times, then read the istikhara dua.

You can do both.

Istikhara + Istishara (Conslutation) = Good decision.

And you can repeat the Istikhara.

It's best to do it after Isha.

so my question is thats fine i can do it , but is there any restriction or wot u should have proper Namazi.. coz i i aint offering prayer regularly...
or
i can do my self ...?
