May be brother someone has already aswered to your question. But I want to give my view because it warried me too.
As Allah has created evrything, i.e. the technology that they conduct too, this means that Allah also gave to good, i.e. muslims, to use this creation of Allah for good wills. Although they have srong information power in their hands and they use this for the sake of satan, the most Almaighty is Allah, and even when you look to such kind of videos to free your mind or get information what is really going on in this world, it's normal that you have doubts if's also not from satan or from real muslim, as our prophet (p.b.u.p) awared ummah time will come that fitna will be evrywhere.
For me after watching the videos (especially "arrivals") I understood that I could notice what really on this world by readin, applying Quran, thinking on it and analysisg evrything in the world by it before. After watching these videos and understunding this I''ll not watch such videos anymore and begin to live my life and my religion as Quran whan't it off us.
But anyhow this videos (especially "arrivals") helped me to come to this mind. Thats why I'm greatfull first to Allah and after to that guys for their efforts to enlight teir brothers.

as you know,I"m shi"a.I haven"t studied a lot about other madahib (I"m only 18!!!).I watched the videos and I liked them and I found nothing important against my beliefs and my madhab in them,but I realized that some of my brothers and sisters have mentioned sth about WEAK AHADITH. could anyone tell me what they are and which are the strong ones about the arrivals in sunni and shi"a references and sources and what else my sunni friends don"t like a bout the videos??
please help your young and eager sister to find the truth by answering her questions...thanks a lot...

I would like to say few things about The Arrivals documentary, i agree that Music is haram in Islam.But you would have heard about the famous proverb "to clean the dirt you have to deal with dirt" or something like that. I will say (according to my perception) that this documentary is for those Muslims (myself included) who listen music whole day and watch TV (simply deviated muslims) and do many haram things without knowing that its haram, this documentary is not for the practicing Muslims (i mean who are well guided and are already on right path) because they knew this thing ahead of time. I believe this documentary is made to clear all the concepts of today's world and make understand Muslims like me regarding so called modernization and so called freedom and all they have put those (music ,skin etc) for our proper understanding . After watching this documentary my eyes were opened, i would like to thank those people who made it. Alhamdullilah after watching this i have changed my self to 180 degrees. Rest now its our duty to read Holy Quran and Authentic Hadees and to know what is wrong n right and then follow it properly. Rather than criticizing these people we should appreciated them. May Allah guide all of us to the right path.

kinds of series must be attractive for non muslims too;considering that music is not haraam and a taboo for them. as a real follower of muhammad

Isn't this the Hashim who is part of the movement that believes that the new world order is ruled by reptilians who are evil jinn reptile people who appear as humans but if you look at their eyes for long enough you can see their pupils sometimes turn pointy (like David Ike does) and who was accused of accusing people of drinking alcohol at an ISNA conference and who sometimes seems to be pro-Sunni and sometimes pro-Shiah ?

He is only young and has some growing up to do and is still a little confused about some things due to the pressures and misguiding influences that are falling on American youth I think, Allah bless him .

If we mix real things up like jinn, zionism, freemasonry, dajjal with almost certainly imaginary things like reptilians etc we are going to get really confused I think, yes? - there may be some valuable material in these films but it is mixed in with some things that (metaphorically) turn brain matter into cheese

Videos like 'arrivals', and the vidmentioned in this post are actually made by the ahl-e-baatil, especially the yahood - in order to care muslims and to make them lose all hope in everything and to create dispondency in Muslims. BEware do not watch, the harm is greater than the benefit. Like others have said above ; read the quran (Mufti Elias sabs 'Quran made easy' is a beautiful starting point):

I have had a good brain washing on youtube by videos from Abdullah Hashem on youtube, all im left with is Fear, i noticed that this guy has used weak Ahadith as the basis of this documentary of about 400 parts (each of 10 minutes). At 40th part when he declared Arnold Schwarznegger as the Anti-Christ, i said thats it, im not going to watch it anymore.

The Authentic Hadith of Sahih Bukhari:

Volume 9, Book 87, Number 128:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said, "I saw myself (in a dream) near the Ka'ba last night, and I saw a man with whitish red complexion, the best you may see amongst men of that complexion having long hair reaching his earlobes which was the best hair of its sort, and he had combed his hair and water was dropping from it, and he was performing the Tawaf around the Ka'ba while he was leaning on two men or on the shoulders of two men. I asked, 'Who is this man?' Somebody replied, '(He is) Messiah, son of Mary.' Then I saw another man with very curly hair, blind in the right eye which looked like a protruding out grape. I asked, 'Who is this?' Somebody replied, '(He is) Messiah, Ad-Dajjal.'"


All i learnt from these Hashem's Films videos is that soon we will be wiped out, how magic is done, different ways of satan coming into our lives, through television etc.
Yes television is Haram, but what about his own videos with all the Visuals and Horrifying, sometimes Rock Music in the background ? Arent these things Haram in Islam ?
To me, these videos had a lot of negative energy, why not read Quran with Tafseer and learn Authentic Ahadith instead of watching these Audio-Visual brain-washing stuff ?
