So the Aqeedah of the Shaamis and Brelvis is the same? That perhaps explains a lot.
Yeah also strange how Moulana Ahmed Radha Khan and Brelvis apparently prevented
the Aqeedah of sunnis, being corrupted by the Najdis, yet they have been unable to prevent the same sunnis from being corrupted by Hindu customs.

And another information for you is Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani was not Hanafi but he was Hambali.

And there are all four silsilas (Qadariyah, Chistiya, Naqshbandiyah and Soharwardiyah) present in Deobandis. Hakim ul Ummat Mujadid -e- Millat Hazrat Asraf Ali Thanwi was bait in all four silsilas.

He (hafizahullah) said that the Wahhaabis have written and produced refutations against the Deobandis and have decalred them from Ahlul Bid'ah, therefore how can they (the Deobandis) be called Wahhaabis. However, Shaykh did say that the more recent Deobandis do have some Wahhaabi tendencies..

It seems as though Shaykh Yacoubi has been spending too much time with Tahir ul-Qadri and co.

Ahmed Raza Khan was nowhere near a defender of Ahlus Sunnah, he was bad mannered, extreme takfiri, heavily engaged in and promoting bidah ad most of all he was a british agent.

I've even been told that he was in the same class as Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani (May Allah's Curse be Upon Him).

Who in the name of Allah is he referring to when he says some deobandies have wahabi tendencies?

amazingly if you read histry you will find that shahab-uddin-soharwardi was killed by order of sultan salah-uddin-ayoubi for his aquaid-e-bataniya and ppls practing such beliefs in sub continent.

ahmed raza khan was lyer of his era, he mixed hanafi maslaq with sufuissum.

When Shaykh Muhammad al Yaquobi was here in SA he was welcomed by both deobandi's and barelwi's in fact he even gave dars in the Madressa of our Jamiatul Ulama branch here in Fordsburg,,, I wonder if they know about his Barelwee links....
