The funniest thing is that he actually named examples of the benefits the school of Deoband has brought to the Ummah, whereas, when mentioning the Brelwis, all he could say is you're stupid if you don't recognize the "benefits" Ahmed Raza Khan broght to the Ummah.

I believe that, in another article, he claimed that Mulla Ali Qari believed the Prophet to be everywhere,

It is important to note while reading GF Hadad's response that whenever the scholars of the Sunni tradition have replied to one another in order to express their differences of opinion, they have done so with great attention to adab and akhlaq. So much so that many differences of opinion have been expressed in such a humble manner the reader would think that the person differing is in awe and respect of the one he differs with. Our tradition is replete with such examples. Read the letter of Imam Malik to Laith and his response to the Imam. Read the differences between the Shawaafi and the Anhaf in their classical literature. This lack of adherence to adab shows the reliability of the author and his adherence to the tradition. Mufti Sahab's fatwa is in no way derogatory whereas look at the very writing style of GF Hadad.

    Bismillah
I am somewhat surprised by the comment of GF Haddad. Even amoung the deobandi scholars there are iktelaf with regards to Mawalid but as far as I know unianimous in their view with regards to current norm due lack of shari observation and people viewing this act to be almost wajib. This is the view of orthodoxy throught out the century and islamic tradtion. No Nawafil or virtueous act can be or should be seen as obligatory. This is very extreme. Surely middle path is the best and all view ought to be within the confine of USUL and mutual respect. Allah knows best

I am surprised and Shocked by the way GF Haddad's Writing Style and attitude towards such a prominent Scholar. How can he say to ignore a fatwa from an ulema of that caliber.

Shaykh Ihsan Ilahi Zahir was Ahl al-Hadith scholar and not a Deobandi. He wrote extensively against the Beralwis that is why G.F Haddad seems to hate him with passion. In his aqaid, he is 99% Beralwi, minus the takfir. At times, it seems like his murids translate the writings of Beralwi scholars and they are posted under his name.

Yes I know he's Ahle Hadith, that's the reason for which I highlighted that GF Haddad kept considering him a Deobandi!

    Assalamu aliakum,
If the moderators feel there is slander or disrespect they can close the thread. But I think it is important that people be aware of what each scholar stand for so that they know whether or not to learn from them or not and what to stay away from.
