Default Pleasure of Allah or Reward from Allah

I read surah mulk because I want to be saved in the torment of the grave, I'm making repetition of kalimah because I want my darajat to be raised, I read the qur'an because I want to earned a lot of Hasanat and I make good deeds to Enter Jannah.

I am thinking that I don't really love Allah because I don't seek his pleasure but I seek his Reward.

    Am I Monaafiq?

    How to correct my Niat?

Read the Story of Hazrat Abu Bakar and Hazrat Hanzala in Fazail e Amaal, Hayatus sahaba.

Even sahaba was not patient about their Imaan.
This is the sign of true Imaan

My husband told me about this. Although it is okay to have an intention for those things while reading these wazaif, it is even better if you make your intention that through reading those wazaif you will attain Allah's pleasure and it will be through this pleasure of Allah, that His mercy will shine on you in this world and akhira. this way you will cover all the aspects of love, fear, hope, pleasure etc

Allah has defined the frame work of who a munafiq is. It is command of prphet (pbuh), not to call anyone kaafir or munafiq, only Allah knows it. So dont consider yourself munafiq, rather change ur ways so that it is different from a munafiqs frame work.

    Assalamu Alaikum,
All of us recite the Quran ,do Amals,etc.. in order to be saved from the hell and its torments basically.I think when we engage our selves in doing good deeds it enables us to gain the pleasure of Allah almighty InshAllah.
I don't think you should worry brother.but just have the intention all the time that all what you do is done as an Ibada for the sake of Allah.

My point is that if you love someone then you must not expect something to them to give you. Example, your friend, wether he is rich or poor, Bas, just talking, walking and accompany him will make you happy.

Every one of us Got friend right. My question is that can we love Allah like how we love our friend or wife or children or morethan that? How?

I am so much caring about the matter of my friend but my care of my salaah a little. I dont even perform Tahajjod because of Sleepiness. That means I dont love Allah. I even sometimes make sin even I kn0w that someone is looking at me and that is My Allah.

Dear bro you have to make your intention soley to do the good deed for Allah and to be close to Him, and it is in the framework of you getting closer to Allah that you hope to receive from Him paradise and its bounties, and in the framework of you being close to Him that you Fear ending in Hell Fire..

paradise and hell are but the manifestations of Allah's power. if you do a deed just for paradise without remembering the working of Allah and His mercy, facilitating, enabling, and deliverance to that homeland then know that your deed has no merit, and will be casted away from Allah sight once the angels have them presented to Him, and if you avoid a sin and do righteousness just for the sake of fearing hell without seeing Allah's enablement and working, and His dominance and His right to be feared the most, then that righteousness has similiarly no merit.

This is all based on the ayah of the Quran that everything perishes except for His face, and the ulema of the salaf have mentioned that everything here in the verse are the deeds done and His face means for Him only and be closer to Him..

Whoever has this feeling and actualizes it, has entered the circle of ihsan which is the start of the highest levels of eman..dear brother rejoice for if you have this feeling then that is a calling and indication that Allah wants you closer to Him, and that He loves you more than many others, this is a feeling about which those who travelled and reached some of the highest stations of the siddiqun and proximity to Allah expressed in such words that, in the death/annihilation of yourself get alive with God..

which means that you acquiring such a level of witnessing where you see yourself, and your deeds as a creation and working of Allah, to whom all power belongs, and no longer see your life nor strength/power and existence as something independent in itself but rather dependent to and a working of Allah, and you worship Allah for His sake and for Him only, without expecting anything in return for your own personal self..

but to get to this level the servant has to pass many stations and stages, that will lead from one opening of light to another, and in the perlimanary stages of this journey one must see Allah's beauty in paradise, and His fear in Hell, for the motivation in the afterlife creates in the person the desire to seek God, and once the person is firmly in the path of desiring, he will reach a point where he/she sees nothing but God, realizing deeply His names and attributes, that leads to the creating a state of deep thankfulness and this is followed by seeing himself/herself too to be a working of God dependent on Him..such that it would rendering one embarrased in front of God to prefer himself/herself with such terminologies as me or mine, but rather giving the credit for everything inculding oneself to God only..Allah swt is the beautiful one, al-lateef, as salam the peace, al-baqi the one who always remains, the all living, and from one opening to the other these truths are seen more and more, rendering one to true happiness..so in the annihilation of the self and getting alive in God is where the real human being lies..
