I would like some info on jamia aisha sidiqah and ibn abbas in karachi... I would like to know about the syllabus as well as the teaching method etc.... This is the institute where the convert shaykh maulana hashim teaches....

What do you want to know about Maulana Tariq Jameels's madressah?

One is in Tulumba, and the other one is in Faisablabad.

If you want to learn excellent spoken arabic, and do mujahidah, and build your taqwa, and learn the minor points of tableegh, then that is the place for you.

asalaamu alikum wr wb, i am from Trinidad (west indies) and i recently graduated from madrassa ibn abbas karachi pakistan,

the principal of the madrassahs is doctor amjad, a heart specialist, and also an aalim

Sheikh Hashim is very ill these days and he needs alot of rest, so he does not teach in the boys nor the girls school anymore...

well the syllabus is very similar to the wifaaqi syllabus, some of the the diffrances are :- ...

1) the course for the boys is 9 years...

2) the first 3 years is strictly to learn the arabic language... then the other 6 years is for the aalim's course which is done in arabic language..(if a student is slow and didnt master the arabic language in the first 3 years then he cannot start the aalim course, instead he must repeat and repeat until he masters the arabic language)..

3) some book differ from the wifaaqi syllabus ie: tafseer, seerah and fiqh ect.......

4) at the end of the aalim's course you dont get a certificate lol, the principal says: The sahabahs never had certificate so we too dont need any..:P...........after all its his way of adopting ikhlaas...

i miss ibn abbas the most eventhough i've studied in different places coz the surrounding "mahavl" in the madrasa was the best, despite of it's stricktness and evil that is goin in it it's the best place one can really achive something, not only knowledge but practice and so on....
