Default Shahrukh Khan lists Prophet Mohammad as one of the most unimpressive personality

    Hindustan Times
    Mumbai, June 18, 2009

The Bandra police on Thursday filed a case against film star Shah Rukh Khan for* “outraging religious sentiments”.
The complaint was registered by the Mumbai Aman Committee, a religious organisation, in objection to his remark in a recent magazine[ Time style luxury, vol I] interview in which he listed Prophet Mohammed as one of the most unimpressive personalities in history.
If the case is proved, Khan could go to jail for three years, police said. Khan is presently in the United States and his statement would be taken when he returns; he will not be arrested immediately, said Senior Police Inspector Prakash George. He added: “We will take action after completing the probe.”
Zarar Qureshi, secretary of the committee, claimed: “Shah Rukh Khan bracketed the Prophet along with Adolf Hitler and Winston Churchill.”
Farid Sheikh, president of the committee, said they would not allow Khan’s body to be buried anywhere in Maharashtra when he dies.

    As-Salaamu Alaikum

I assume this to be incorrect until proven guilty.

    Taken from http://www.apakistannews.com/fir-aga...-islam-126524:

Referring to protests on the issue, Shah Rukh said, “If they have seen my interviews about Islam and the Prophet, they should know that it is a writing error and not a thought or view I believe in.”

    Ma'a salaama
The Muslim Ummah is an unique ummah among the whole of mankind: Their land is One, their war is One, their peace is One, their honor is One and their trust is One.

SRK has denied any negative comment about prophet Muhammad [p.b.u.h]. He had, in fact, called Prophet Muhammad [p.b.u.h] "the most impressive positive figure" which was, instead, published in a way that had him quoted as saying the prophet [p.b.u.h] was a negative figure.

He may not be a practicing Muslim [And Allah ta'ala know best] but his respect for ISlam and feeling of being a proud Muslims clearly reflects from the fact that he has always supported [few] tenets of Islam.

    Allah ta'ala know best.

But the reason I used the word few was because his religious views are some times quite similar to that of secular Muslims.

Of course there's a big question mark about the Iman of this person, but no reason to accept every slander we can find against him!

Well he sees nothing wrong in praying to idols and placing the majestic Quraan at the feet of an idol. That is pure repulsive shirk. He is even proud of it. He has said on record he does not see Islam as better than any other religion. He won't teach his children that Islam is superior to any other religion when Allah has declared in the Quraan "that He has chosen Islam". Even someone with an iota of Imaan will never accept another religion as equal to Islam. Can someone who says otherwise still be classed as a muslim?

No matter what sins someone commits, until they make their beliefs public, IF they are against the teachings of Islam and quite simply kufr, then and only then can one make a judgement with regards to their Imaan.

Mr Khan falls into the latter because he's come out into the open, on record might I add, and rejected obligatory aspects of Islam. In fact, he falls short on the first pillar which is tawheed when he bowed down to idols and classed that as acceptable.

What's next? Qadianis are muslim too? Please..
