Dr. Sher Ali Shah is belong from akora khattak near nowshehra.. he is teacher of hadith @ darul uloom haqqaania, akora khattak.. thousands of students learnt hadith from him in last 30+ years..
he is P.H.D (gold medalist) in hadith from madinah university.. sheikh umar fallaata R.A, the famous arab aalim which gives dars @ masjid-e-nabvi (S.A.W) was one of his teachers.. and many other saudi aalims knows him.. sheikh bin baz (R.A) also.
2 years back when i visit akora khattak i stayed at his place for 3 days.. during this visit i attend one of his hadith class.. infront of him, above 900 students were listening him the lesson of hadith..
dr. sher ali shah is also known as "ustaz ul mujahideen" & "ustaz ul asaatiza"
he is also a poet.. in arabic, urdu, persian and pashto language..
tafseer-e-hasan basri (R.A) is famous book of him. (in arabic)
before attack of america on afghanistan.. Former President Parvaiz Musharraf sent a deligation to afghanistan.. General Mehmood, Mufti Taqi Usmani, Mufti Nizam-Uddin Shamzai Shaheed (R.A), Maulana Fazal Raheem, Maulana Saleem-Ullah Khan and Dr. Sher Ali Shah (as translator) were members of this deligation. which met with Mullah Umar about Osama bin Laden shadeed's matter..
in this meeting Mullah umar refused pakistani government's advise to give Osama bin laden to any muslim country.. and in the end Mullah Umar said "we are ready for Jihad.. say this to Americans"
after this meeting, Mullah Umar made request to Dr. Sher Ali Shah to do imaamat of Jummah Prayers.. before Jummah prayers Dr. Sher Ali Shah gives khutba-e-Jihad.
in this age Dr. sher ali often cry and do pray for shahaadat.
