Shaykh Ahmad Dabbagh

Does anybody know who Shaykh Ahmad Dabbagh is? He is from the tariqa Muhammadiya. If anybody has any kind of information on him then please let me know.

Do you want to know about him personally or about his tariqa? Quite a while ago I had some affiliation with them and him. They are VERY strict in regards to the outward aspects of Islam and what they believe to be the sunna, but the Shaykh himself is very gentle and kind and deals with people at whatever level they are at. I miss just talking to him. I think that pretty much anyone could benefit from him, but if you want to advance far it is once again very difficult. They take mujahada very seriously and their tariqa is serious spiritual warfare. If you go to their website and click on the assessment tab and read through the material there you will get an idea how their tariqa works. There is a video on youtube called purification of the heart where the Shaykh describes how the tariqa works. Just search Ahmad Dabbagh and you should find it. I should also say that he is a very strict sunni that is personally hanafi although his students can follow any madhab and he only takes those who have or are willing to learn and believe in sunni aqida, but he will talk to anyone. I forgot how much I missed him until now.

Personally i believe their tariqa can be of great benefit and is "the real deal", but it is not for the feint of heart.

yes... his website is very good and mashallah the tariqa seems very nice... I talked to someone who lives near him and he had nothing but praise for him and the mureeds.... maybe some of our northern brothers might know of him....

I heard apparantly he is a jinn Master? Do you know if he is part of any group? Is he Berelwi? I'm hearing so many mixed things about him that I don't know what to think.

well jinn master??? thats what some idiots say but from what i know mashallah he is good....unless someone has CONCRETE evidence to suggest otherwise?????

I have never heard anything about him having any control over jinn. I know that many of his murids get into states where they can see and hear things that most people are normally veiled from, but the Shaykh has always stressed that such things are not sought after and can be a distraction from what is really important. He is neither berewli or deobandi and is probably somewhere between those two. He tries to bring different people together rather than drive them apart. There is a section on their website about aqidah as well, you may want to glance through it.
