At-Tashil ad-daruri covers the entire Mukhtasar al-Quduri and the translation is also complete.
They have even translated the footnotes, added a foreward as well as a bio for the author's of both the Tashil as well as Mukhtasar al-Quduri.
I haven't gone through the translation, however most of their translations are mediorce. The translator is Ml. Sulayman Kindi, who translated Futuh ash-Sham which is attributed to al-Waqidi.
This book would be far more beneficial and user-friendly than Lubab or Hidayah or any of the other translations available at the moment or in the near future.
Sahabah رضي الله عنهم would cling fast to the Sunnah, on account of it being Sunnah, while we discard the Sunnah, on account of it being (just) Sunnah!

Assalamu alaikum,
I received my copy today. AlhamduliAllah it is a great book and covers all the chapters of fiqh. It even comes with a lot of introduction on how fiqh was derived and how Hanafi fiqh was derived, the biographies of the Imams of fiqh and the Hanafi Imams of fiqh, as well as technical terms used in fiqh in general and specifically by the Hanafis. It's a very comprehensive introduction.
However I think one should learn at least some of the chapters with a teacher because it is not with detailed commentary. I was just browsing over the chapters of transactions and could not understand everything being said straight away. The English is very good - it's just that one needs to be in the field to be understand some stuff. Especially the chapters after zakaat because usually lay people are not very familiar with these masalas in their day to day lives.
AlhamduliAllah it's a good book and is detailed in terms of the spectrum of masalas, but not necessarily for beginners. Maybe intermediate level.

I also received my copy and also couldn't understand what they are saying in the transactions section.
Translation isn't very good and some of the text is superfluous i.e. they list some bullet points from 1 to 5 and then the 6th bullet point just repeats 1 to 5 with a "NOT"

I bought mine a couple of weeks ago. Generally found it quite good, but as mentioned, some sections are a bit confusing for the layman.

I am finding some annoying spelling errors and in some places the message could be clearer while at other places some additional explanatory notes could be available.
However one plus point to this translation is that it covers all the chapters of fiqh - which is a first time for Hanafis in English. The Reliance of the Traveller covers all the chapters for Shafi's. In terms of clarity it is probably the same as Reliance because the concise language may make it difficult for the layperson to understand in both books.

Just a short question, is this book like a "Hanafi's Reliance of the Traveller"?
