Not humor akhi.. I was serious. Rasulullahi appreciate attempts at humor and don't get worked up by them.never saw meth, they didnt have it. So no prohibition on it... that is what you are saying about d-photos.
In any case, Ramadhan is not a time for this..there has been numerous threads explaning these issues...
The stance has been shown to you. If you had a problem with the forum admin not allowing a digital picture, then you should have addressed the issue to the admin, and not made a general thread about it.Since my photograph was on the computer it seemed obvious that it was a digital photograph (since it was... digital). References to antiquated methods of photography is a different issue, as is the fact that it is not drawing or painting, neither does it fall into any of the criteria mentioned in ahadeeth that you cited about drawings and paintings.
...Now if you acknowledge that digital photography is halaal (at least), then why does this site prohibit it? Isn't this declaring something halaal to be haraam? Isn't this itself haraam?
Salaam
As a mod stance : we do not allow digital pictures of animate objects, since this is the ruling we follow from the Ulama. Those who do not follow this ruling, can still follow the precaution of avoiding it. It has nothing to do about declaring halal into haram etc.. We have qualified authoritative Ulama and Mufties running this forum, if any were to judge these fiqhi issues, it would be them.
