I have a question related to this topic.

Say for instance, a Muslim living in the west, who is constantly being surrounded by unislamic things, doesnt hold the things he sees as permissible but understands that since he is in this sort of country, these are going to be the norms?


At one time i was walking into a store, and i saw a cross, i didnt appreciate it and i did reject but my understanding was that this is a non muslim country such things will be common and abundant. Is this kufr? Please tell me no

Well, even in an Islamic Khilafa non-Muslims are allowed to have their crosses, so what's the problem in you thinking of it as "normal" to be present there?..

i was just worried, if my idea of it being normal was thinking it was permissible
