He has been saying for a long time he is coming sorry but he's predictions I take it with pinch of salt

Asalamu alaykum,

I was recently looking at a dua book an old version of Munjat Maqbool and in the chisti silsila of the author of the book under Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanwi 3 khalifas after is Imam Mahdi Alayhi salaam. I have lost the book now.. but it was interesting to note that they included Imam Mahdi alayhi salaam in the spirtual chain.


I find the bit in bold very interesting. Does anybody have that book and could double check it?

What are the ulema saying nowadays about the emergence of the Mahdi? Any recent news on kashf dreams etc that they might have had?

There was a similar thing stated in a book published in India by a Prof. Abdullah from UK. He claimed to be khalifa of Arif billah Dr Abdul Hayy ra and Mawlana Mohammad Ahmad Partabgarhi ra. However, seeking clarification from senior scholars and khulafa of these akabir it turned out that this Prof was mentally ill and had made thse incorrect claims.

from time to time there are people who predict the coming of the mehdi, but this has never been proved either through time or through anything authentic, in recent times a scholor from south africa molana rasheed karolia who made such staement which never materliased, most of the time these predictions have no daleel or shariah proof, didnt jehovas witness also have predictions which never came true, only one thing is certain "death" so why not put all our efforts towards preparing for that event.

with regards to imam mehdi i will stick to what dr tanvir khan saheb has said.......the time is far.....very far......but inshallah the next 70 years or so will see a massive change......inshallah......the tables will turn......the superpowers shall crumble......and the ummah of the prophet Muhammad SAW shall rise once again......the blood of the shudadah which has watered the ummah shall bear fruit in the shape of islamic governance inshallah......

may i give a little advice..
when these kind of things are coming from these kind of people whose state is beyond our knowledge and comprehension, you either give a weight to it or disregard it.
if you adopt the former, then you are in benefit as you have prepared yourself but if you adopt the latter, then you may just be on the losing end when it really happens. . so pick your pick.

he changes his prediction every year
watch there wont be any mahdi next year
then nazim haqqani will predict that mahdi will come in 2011
and he will keep changing his predictions every few years
